What reflections do you have about this message?

The amusing and pungent point I get from all this, is that we need more s*** happening in our lives, in order to "bear fruit"! I.e., "He replied, ‘Sir, let it alone for one more year, until I dig around it and put manure on it. If it bears fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down.’” (Luke 13:8-9).
And I truly do now think I'm "being fertilized" when "s*** happens" in my life -- so much, lately so.  Perhaps this is a perspective only gained from age and experience.
The only thing I haven't figured out for sure yet, is whether we build our own spiritual compost heaps, or the Lord does.  I know I have contributed a lot of s*** to my own heap, from all the mistakes I've made over the years!  That would be great, if not wonderfully ironic, if all that s*** has been fermenting with the rest of the compost over these years, and is now nourishing and strengthening me, so that I can hopefully provide a good harvest!
Hmmm...does this demonstrate that God is Green? LOL!
