EXPANDED INSPIRATION AND PRAYER

Inspiration and prayer for 1/8/12:

Let my prayer be set before You as incense,
the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
Psalm 141: 2 NKJV

Have you ever thought of prayer this way?  I hadn't until I reread this Psalm.  How many times when
we are discussing our religion and our practice of the Spiritual Principles  do we pray before
sharing with another of a different Faith.
Recently I had a situation with someone who didn't believe in religion or GOD even though he identified himself as a member of a church.  How do you discuss anything with a  person with a closed mind and heart?  You don't, but you can pray for the right words and attitude in the conversation with that person.  Even though we have opposing spiritual and religious beliefs, we can be understanding and non-judgmental.  Has this ever happened to you? Our beliefs are that everyone has the right to their own spiritual practices and religion.
There are many roads to God.  We do not know God's Plan is for a person.
I think Tolerance, Prayer & Humility are the keys to communication on an Interfaith level.

"Holy God, let me turn my mind and tongue over to you through prayer in all my communications, especially
when discussing religion and spiritual principles.  Thank you, Lord, for the gifts of Tolerance, Prayer & Humility."
